Jazmyn Youngblood is the junior Student of The Month winner. She is shy when you first meet her but she is really sweet. She is also very helpful, so I was not surprised she won the award “I was around a lot during the summer helping teachers getting there rooms ready.” Her dad was super excited when he found out and was very proud of his daughter. Not only is she helpful for the teachers she participates in many extracurricular activities. She participates in Track, films for football, student council, and is a part of Dumbledore’s army. When asked why she won the award she was very shy, she finally said “I always just try to help out people. I’m always in the office, I take care of Bella every day. I just like to help out my teacher and make their lives easier because they are spending their time making ours better.” This award recognizes Jazmyn Youngblood for her hard work and commitment to Battle High School.
