Dear Crushing But Shy,

The best advice I can give you is to take a deep breath and have a conversation with him. You have to remember THE WORST THING HE CAN SAY IS NO!!! You are a wonderful, beautiful, person and there is someone out there for you. I can’t say he’s the one for you and truth be told you can’t say that either but you can take a big deep breath and tell him how you feel and see how he feels.

You also really want to remember to not sacrifice your friendship, if he doesn’t feel the same way don’t take it out on him and don’t take it out on yourself, its no ones fault it just isn’t meant to be. I’m sure if he doesn’t want to be there as a boyfriend he would love to continue to be there as a friend. Remember the one is out there waiting for you, your job is to live your life, make mistakes, cry, and be happy, and when you find the one you’ll know, you just can’t rush love. You’ll find it one day.
