With the upcoming stress of finals and EOC’s, it can be hard to find time to take much needed breaks. For many, watching tv or movies is a time to relax and have some fun. Here are seven shows that will ensure that you enjoy your time off from schoolwork.

1. On My Block

On My Block is a show about four high school kids growing up in Los Angeles California. Attempting to deal with getting their friend out of a gang, along with friendships turning to romance, the four teens get stuck in lots of sticky situations. Season two was just released on March 29.

2. All American

All American is a show about a high school football player who is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High School. Culture clashes and rivalries will test him as he attempts to play on a new team. There is currently only one season on Netflix.

3. Stranger Things

Stranger Things is a two season show about a young boy’s disappearance under supernatural circumstances. His family and friend’s attempt to find him. Season three is said to be released on July 4, 2019.

4. Queer Eye

Queer Eye is a fun, upbeat show about “The Fab Five”, five men who all help people makeover their lives. They focus on helping men with cultural pursuits,  confidence, wardrobe, cooking, home decor, and personal hygiene. Season three was just released on March 15, in which the Fab Five travelled to Kansas City, Missouri.

5. The Walking Dead

Rick Grimes, who was previously a sheriff, wakes up from a coma and realizes that the world is falling apart due to a zombie apocalypse. The show is about his struggles as he attempts to lead a group of survivors to safety. There are currently eight seasons available on Netflix.

6. The Office

The Office is a show about a paper company called Dunder Mifflin, and the workers who must deal with personality clashes and crazy behavior in the workplace. The show is filmed like a documentary, including interviews with each of the characters. There are currently nine seasons available on Netflix.

7. The Umbrella Academy

Reunited by their father’s death, siblings with supernatural powers discover family secrets, and a looming threat to humanity. There is currently one season on Netflix.

Netflix is constantly adding and removing movies and shows. Sometimes it can be good to switch up the genre of shows and movies that you watch. Hopefully this list helps!
