The Battle Spartans girls golf team has had a great season so far, with a few more matches to play and districts coming up. Junior Alissa Simmons, has been playing golf for Battle since her freshmen year. Alissa says,

“So far this season has been great, I’ve hit some of my best shots this season and have been able to lower my scores”.

Junior Ema Higgins, has been playing golf for Battle since her sophomore year. Ema began playing golf last year, because it was something new and something that sounded like it would be fun too. Ema said,

“I love our team because everyone gets along and has fun together, it feels more like a family than a team”.

Head coach, Coach Hamilton is impressed with how the team is doing this year, he says

“The team has really grown over the past few years at Battle, and it’s cool that they are all good friends”.

The girls golf season is coming to a wrap, with their last 2 matches next week.
