Number 14 on the football team, Quarterback Brevinn Tyler, a second year AVID student, was nominated to be the first student of the month for the class of second year sophomores. Brevinn said, “I felt really honored and proud of myself because my teachers felt I was a good example in school.” Brevinn was very excited to find out that Mrs. Bennett elected him: “She also sent me a letter yesterday of congratulations, and I thanked her for my nomination” said Brevinn. But no one was more excited than Brevinn’s parents. Brevinn says, “My parents were really excited, they told me that they were very proud of their son for winning the student of the month.” His own pride has been strengthened by the award of student of the month. Brevinn Tyler will now be known as a model student
