Student of the Month: William Hern
William Hern, learning enthusiast and community activist, is undoubtedly an excellent recipient for this award. Involved in upwards of six after school clubs, and many internal responsibilities during the day; his aspirations are out of this world. Starting at a young age as a Boy Scout, he holds the central principles of community involvement and helping others above all and applies them to everything he does. He is currently involved in AVID, Mac Scholars, Student Council, TF Film Club, Key Club, and plans to partake in the clubs up until graduation. He intends to graduate early and dreams he has Mizzou as a definite maybe, but a four year school is an unquestionably on the horizon. He plans to exceed a bachelor degree, going as far as he can with a business and management career. Along with his current involvements, he intends to add more to his plate, including Marching Band and anything else that comes his way, while keeping an impressive grade point average. His high goals and personal achievements will well exceed his high school education, taking him far in life and this award is just an indication for his current excellence.
