Senior and copy editor of The Spearhead, Jack Tallmage reads passionately with a goal to study English in college and to ultimately have career involving reading. Jack aspires for academic challenges. Some of his favorite books this year include Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut and The Fall by Albert Camus. “I like to think a lot of my motivations are intrinsic rather than from other people,” Jack stated. While taking rigorous courses to improve himself, music is an outlet Pretty much all music, except country or dubstep. He is self oriented, and self motivated, not to mention very stylish. “It’s not an outfit if there’s no denim, rule of thumb,” Jack mentions. Being vegan and a bread lover, he often frequents Main Squeeze and Uprise Bakery downtown in his free time. Jack is ending his Battle experience with a bang in journalism this year.
