District Championship games at Battle are not given to the Spartans, they earn there chances and indeed they have as the 6-4 Spartans will hit the road against the 8-2 Timberland T-Wolves to try and win their fifth straight district championship.

The Spartans are coming in after a 48-44 win over the 4-6 Wentzville Holt Indians in which Spartan Senior Cornerback Jaylon Williamson intercepted the Indian pass with just 15 seconds remaining in the game to keep the Spartans season alive. The offense capitalized on 7 of their 8 drives as they would score 7 touchdowns on the game, the Spartans will need the same energy from the offensive side of the ball if they wanna be super successful this season, the defensive side was only able to make a couple of stops but also allowing a field goal and a few touchdowns along the way, if the Spartans can play the way they did in that fourth quarter of that game, they will be very successful.

The T-Wolves are coming in on a 30-9 home district semifinal win against the 5-6 Smith-Cotton Tigers, the Timberwolves will be able to pass the football if they like to considering with the 6 foot 6 inch Quarterback they have, the T-Wolves have played some serious competition including the likes of Fort Zumwalt North, Eureka, and others, the T-Wolves will have to be on top of its game on the defensive side of the ball if they wanna beat the Spartans.

Battle defeated Timberland 34-13 to advance to the state quarterfinal game and win their fifth district title in a row.
