February 4, 2020
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and love is filling the air. Around this time, students feel pressure to give their significant other a gift for this holiday. Here are a few gift ideas for the ones you care for:
Flowers – a classic demonstration to show you care. Just make sure they aren’t allergic first.
Box of chocolates – a tasty treat your special someone can enjoy.
Teddy bear– whether it’s ginormous or miniature, a teddy bear is a great go-to for a Valentine’s Day gift.
Scented candle – give your loved one this gift to make their room smell great and they’ll think of you every time they light it.
Engraved necklace or ring – a great way to show your love is to give your significant other a piece of jewelry with both of your initials, a special date for the both of you, or another special message.
“What I Love About You” Jar – get a small Mason jar and fill it up with small slips of paper mentioning a reason why you love them. Then they can open one each day!
Picture collage – get a poster board, or any other display and print out a bunch of pictures of you and your special someone to glue them on and remind them of all the great memories the two of you have shared.
Handmade bracelet – make a bracelet out of string using your significant other’s favorite colors.
An article of clothing – whether it’s a t-shirt, hoodie, or socks, an article of clothing from their favorite brand/store will be sure to put a smile on their face.
A good, old fashioned card – who could go wrong with writing a card, expressing how much you care, and how much this person means to you on this special day?
