From November 3 to November 21, Mr. Jack Dallas 1A Business Principles class collected 363 pounds of food for Central and Northeast Food Bank of Missouri. 16 blue barrels around the school’s campus where students donated peanut butter, canned food, soups, and other dry goods.
Food drives are a way to help out those in need who need food and to come together in our community especially around the holiday season.
“I think it’s important to get back to the community,” business teacher Mr. Jack Dallas said. “And teach the kids about what it takes when we all come together, what we can achieve, and holidays are a big thing. We’re all family and I want people—and my class wanted people—to all come together and I get essentially have a way for people to feel loved in the holidays.”
