Neila Bates, Reporter
Neila Bates is an artistic and warm-hearted individual who desires to better the world around her. Neila strongly believes that people should be comfortable with who they are and she would like to help others feel at ease with themselves. She surmises that if people were to accept themselves fully, it would be easier for them to accept others, which would make for a more harmonious society. She also enjoys hearing other people’s stories and learning about what makes each person unique. In addition to helping people, Neila has another passion. Inspired by her father, and being an avid music lover herself, Neila takes delight in writing vocals and poetry, and is currently learning to play the ukulele. With such a creative and caring personality, Neila Bates is a wonderful contribution to the Battle High School community.
